This is a snapshot of some recent activities.

BBC STANDING CONFERENCE ON RELIGION AND BELIEF
The Church and Media Network provides the secretariat for the BBC Standing Conference on Religion and Belief. In this role we bring together members of the BBC Executive with national leaders from the UK’s major faith communities.

PROGRAMME CONSULTANCY
The Network has recently provided consultancy support to major productions including The Passion (BBC1), The Liverpool Nativity (BBC3), The Sacred Made Real (National Gallery) Something Understood (BBC Radio 4), The Nativity (BBC1)  and many others.

CHRISTIANITY IN THE DIGITAL SPACE
We organised the ground-breaking symposium on Christianity in the Digital Space at Durham University in July 2009. Sixty Christians who work primarily on-line met with theologians and others to explore theological and missiological issues in the digital environment.

The Church and Media Network has been instrumental in establishing CODEC, an academic research centre for the study of Christian communication in the digital environment at Durham University.

TEACHING AND TRAINING
We have provided teaching and training for many groups including the Church of England General Synod, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the United Reformed Church, St John’s College Nottingham, Cranmer Hall Durham, The Church of the Nazarene and many others.
